  The Algonquin Resort in St. Andrew's is a wonderful historic property built in 1889. Though it has been modernized, care has been taken to keep the charm and feel. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor and featured a really comfortable king size bed and also of note were the pillows. I'm pretty fussy with those so that was a nice surprise, they managed to be soft and yet supportive. We had absolutely no issues during our stay and I would recommend this location. We will certainly think nothing of staying there again.

  Beautiful historic hotel great for a family get away. Staff is amazing and friendly. Just a wonderful experience. Board games, ghost tours, and okay drinks. Town is close to St Andrews (chocolate museum, factory), St. John (neat architecture), and shopping in Maine.

  The restaurant/lounge was fun with a buzz of people inside. I appreciate that they have board games in the lobby area for guests to use. The host was exceptional. He made sure we got the table that we preferred instead of just sticking us in the next available one.

  Love the resort. Have gone several times for a weekend getaway, especially in the shoulder seasons. Stayed once and we were one of just a few in the whole resort. Great place to stay to visit the town.

  We had the Sunday brunch the next day which was amazing. The selection was just the right amount and everything was delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The host from the night before was there and offered to pay for one of our brunches in compensation for the night before. I don't know how he found out about our disappointment but we were very impressed that he wanted us to have a good experience so much that he made a point to remember us and try to make amends.

  My boyfriend and I stayed for a night for a work party. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. Also the desk staff were incredible and also hilarious (I should mention tolerant as well). Can't wait to return

  The front desk attendant was wonderfully helpful and pleasant to talk to. She made sure we had the best stay possible on our anniversary.

  The room was great, everything was very clean and comfortable. My only negative comment on the room is that the channel selection on the TV was pretty lackluster.

  We ordered the steak for $37. It was disappointing in every way. It was slightly overcooked for what we asked for but the meat itself was very bland, in a boiled roast beef sort of way. With a side of 5 small pieces of potato, it was entirely not worth it.

  Our server wasn't that great. Not very attentive to us (younger couple) but very warm and chatty with the older, wealthier (by comparison) table right next to us. Seemed to only be interested in helping those who he thought had the most money (ie, give the best tips).
