  The seafood chowder was delectable! Large chunks of haddock, shrimp and scallops made this probably the best chowder I have had here this week. The view was stunning. We were able to watch the sea rise during high tide from the deck. Burger was done to our liking and the fish tacos were just as tasty!

  Outstanding service and quality seafood. We walked in 10 minutes before closing. We were greeted warmly, seated and served. My two kids had escargot, fish and chips and a kids meal haddock. I had the lobster dinner. Good portion sizes. We were very pleased.

  I never write reviews but we enjoyed our lunch so much I had to! We were warmly welcomed with our 2 children and seated on the deck. The Wait staff were great with our children and made us feel so comfortable.... they even gave them blankets so they wouldn't be cold while we waited. Service was quick and delicious! We had the seafood platter and it was the best I have ever had :) not greasy at all, nice and light. Servings were generous and worth the price (seafood is always expensive). Highly recommend!

  Went their with the family. Had the crab cakes( in the picture shown), fresh lobster, mussels and the deep fried clams. All of it was delicious. Even my 3 year old son loved the trying all of it. Service was great (thanks Jon) and as some of the other people have said, you can't beat the view. A little busy outside for a photo of that as we weren't at the edge.

  The Gables has a great atmosphere and nice view of the water. Our food came surprisingly quickly. The fish tacos were delicious and hot. The staff could be a little more attentive but it was also very busy during my visit.
